Here is a really special picture from my trip out to the snowy mountains. The wonderful woman standing right next to me in the black North Face jacket is actually one of the amazing nurses from my care team! We were both bundled up against the freezing cold, and I had my black leather jacket and beanie on to keep warm. It is such a huge blessing when the people who help take care of your health also become great friends that you can share fun adventures with. We had the best time just enjoying the crisp winter air and taking in those beautiful, snowy mountain views behind us.

Here is a really special picture of me and my son Ryan from way back on Christmas Eve in 1999. We were celebrating the holidays at our home in Plano, Texas, right before the start of the new millennium.
